We loved staying here! Everything about the house fitted our group of six perfectly! When we read about the wet room, we were sceptical, but we loved using it best of all! It was great being steps away from the Minster – we went to Evensong every night! What a calming and beautiful experience. Other than the Minster, highlights of our time here: steam train to Goathland and Whitby, hiking in the moors near Goathland, fish and chips at the Magpie in Whitby, strolling around the old streets, restaurants, Lamb and Lion pub, lunch at Gray’s Court, tea at Little Betty’s, scotch tasting at the Whisty Shop, the Castle Museum.
We loved having breakfast in our PJ’s every morning and having an afternoon resting place. Being able to do our laundry was a great bonus!
