Our 2nd visit here. This time to celebrate a 70th birthday. As last year, we were so lucky with the weather, not a drop of rain in sight!
A walk around the city walls is well worth it, especially if you are a bit ‘nosey’as you can look into peoples’ gardens. Jorvik museum is great for kids, both big and small.
Bennetts (just around the corner) is great for breakfast or brunch. The Ice Cream Boat, where the York City Cruises go from was a hit with the kids. The level of musical buskers was amazingly high, opera, jazz, soul and pop.
